Luke and I go to Mexico every year, and even though the orphanage is close to being completed but due to the decrease in donations the end is far from sight. Please consider donating to www.tapetriesoflife.com to help them complete their mission.   

Here are some facts about the orphans in Mexico....

• There are more than 100 million street children around the world who live in fear every day of their lives. UNICEF estimates that there are 10,000 homeless children in Juarez, Mexico alone.

• 1 million children are forced into sex markets every year to serve the increasing demands of organized sex tours from industrial nations, and drug trafficking.

• 5 million children under the age of 5 die every year of dehydration caused by diarrhea and other intestinal diseases.

• Every minute, 15 children in the world die for want of essential food and inexpensive vaccines or vitamins.

 Other recent mission trips include New Orleans to help rebuild and Ukraine to help street children.
